Terroir
Vineyards: these are located entirely within the commune of Saint-Pantaléon which is in the in the Southern part of the French Department of Drôme, and on the road to Nyons
Soil types: argillaceous limestone slopes, sandy lower sloes and stony terraces.
Climate: Mediterranean, protected from the Mistral by neighbouring. • Historie: Vindyrkning har været den vigtigste produktion i denne landsby i mere end 200 år, og i 1918 anmodede kommunalbestyrelsen om at få tilføjet “les vignes” til kommunenavnet, og i 1969 fik Saint-Pantaléon-les-Vignes tildelt appellationen Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Pantaléon-les-Vignes.
Fremstilling
• Produktionsareal*: 61 ha, årlig produktion: 2 037 hl, basisudbytte: 33 hl/ha.
• Druesammensætning**: For rødvinene: Min. 50 % Grenache, min. 20 % Syrah og/eller Mourvèdre, andre af appellationens druesorter tilladt med op til max. 20 %.
