A graduate of the Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse, Hélène Dion has been in the wine business since 2001. After qualifying as a consultant sommelier, she immersed herself in the world of wine-growing, working in a vineyard in Quebec.
In the last few years, Hélène Dion has been writing articles on wine for both print and interactive media and has run the Vinomode evenings with designer Myriam Giroud. She is also director of communications for the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS) and teaches at the Quebec Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHQ).
She has a degree in Art History from Concordia University and is an accredited member of the International Federation of Wine and Spirits Journalists (FIJEV).
Apart from the contents of her glass, Hélène is passionate about people and thrives on enriching encounters on her visits to vineyards in all parts of the world.
