Our first Pairing Passions of this year took place on April 15th and was a big success! It was an evening dedicated to the Golden Movie Era, with a guest list full of underground artists, musicians and mischief makers, in an undisclosed space, the Mercury Hall, in Austin, Texas. A one-night-only celebration of unconventional art, fine French wine and great food, it was hosted by Rhône Valley Wines and Adam Aleksander Productions and Dinner Lab.
The event included a duo of hot, up-and-coming, renowned chef and sommelier, and trendy urbane crowd that created an unforgettable experience for foodies, press, and industry professionals!
The 63 attendees had the chance to taste the perfect harmony between the cooking of Chef Anthony Redman and 9 of the very best French Rhone Valley Wines; like Crozes-Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Gigondas, Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages; thanks to the Sommelier Nathan Prater .
In a very pleasant atmosphere of the 50’s, enjoyed the meal and were entertained by a beautiful performance by Roxy Roca and the Studio. One lucky man even took the opportunity of this incredible event to make his marriage proposal!
Highlighted by many special moments, it was a fabulous night to remember, and here are the pictures to prove it!
The next Pairing Passions will take place in Seattle, on June 17th behind the theme of foraging. It’s going to be awesome, be sure to mark the date!
